Caplan and Earnest LLC is very pleased to announce that Cindy Pechon has joined the firm in our health care group.
Her practice is focused on health care laws, regulations, and compliance matters. Ms. Pechon counsels health care providers and payers on a wide range of transactions, payment issues, HIPAA, and anti-kickback analysis. She has developed a special expertise in managed care contracting and regulatory compliance, and is engaged in development of provider organizations designed to operate efficiently under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Before law school, Ms. Pechon spent over a decade working in several facets of health care administration, including managed care administration, IPA development, and primary care practice management. Prior to joining Caplan and Earnest, Ms. Pechon served as Compliance Counsel to a Fortune 500 company and provided general counsel to a Colorado-based managed care organization.
Ms. Pechon is a native of New Orleans and earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 2005.
