The 2009 Boulder County Social Services program, Pack to School, was a huge success. We are proud to have gathered $1,056 which led to the purchase of:
90 backpacks
10 paper boxes filled with miscellaneous supplies: filler paper, graph paper, notebook paper, subject dividers, compasses, protractors, scissors, pencil boxes, pens, pencils, markers, binders, rulers, pocket folders, crayons, glue, etc.
We would also like to thank McGuckin's for offering special pricing on backpacks, compasses, and protractors.
We also received donations from Source Office Products: filler paper (96), index tab dividers (100), pens (312), pencils (288), scissors (4).
The program would not have been as successful without their help.
Caplan and Earnest LLC is proud to have participated in the Boulder County Social Services program, Pack to School, for over ten years.
Once again it’s Pack to School time, and we are collecting backpacks, school supplies (see attached list), and cash donations! Social Services will begin distributing school supplies to their clients the first week of August, so we would like to receive your contributions by Wednesday, July 29.
Last year our firm contributed 89 backpacks and numerous miscellaneous school supplies. In addition, Source Office Products donated 12 boxes containing binders, paper, colored markers, erasers, protractors, and compasses.
Through this program, Social Services helped 450 low-income, high-risk children and teens in Boulder County – victims of abuse, neglect, and poverty – start school with all the required supplies.
Thank you for your continued support!
