Tim graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in English. In May 2006, he earned his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he served as an articles editor for the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy. Tim joined Caplan and Earnest LLC as an associate in September 2006 after clerking for the firm in 2005.
