BOULDER, Colo. — Sheryl K. Bridges has joined Caplan and Earnest as special counsel with a focus in health care law. She specializes in malpractice, contractual disputes, professional licensing, compliance and regulation.

Prior to joining Caplan and Earnest, Bridges worked as an attorney for Fennemore Craig and Kennedy Childs, Denver-based law firms. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur B. Vieregg of the 19th Judicial District of Virginia.

Bridges received her Juris Doctor from George Manson University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, where she participated in the Mental Illness Legal Clinic, the Trial Advocacy Group and served as a treasurer for the Environmental Law Society. With a bachelor’s degree from University of Colorado at Boulder in Spanish for the professions, Bridges serves as a volunteer attorney for the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network and as a trustee for the Escuela de Guadalupe.

Recognized by Denver’s 5280 magazine as a rising legal star in the areas of health care and medical malpractice, Bridges has made multiple presentations on the subjects and has co-authored two Medical Malpractice Law chapters in the 2014 and 2015 editions of the Annual Survey of Colorado Law.
