BOULDER—Aug. 3, 2017—Justin Miller has joined Caplan and Earnest LLC’s healthcare and litigation groups as an associate attorney. His areas of expertise include civil rights violations, personal injury claims, municipal law, policy development, constitutional law, contract disputes and labor and employment matters.
Miller has served on local and state campaigns, as well as with the Colorado State Legislature. In addition, he has served as communications director for elected officials and various political organizations. Miller returns to Caplan and Earnest after working as a law clerk for the firm. Most recently, he worked as a legal fellow for the Denver City Attorney’s Office.
Miller received his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he was a member of the CU Mock Trial Team, a member of the Barristers’ Council and a student practitioner for the Criminal Defense and Immigration Clinic. Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Spanish from the University of San Diego, and has used his Spanish fluency and legal skills in working with Boulder’s homeless population and Spanish-speaking clients seeking asylum.
