BOULDER, CO (May 1, 2018) – Coulter Bump, attorney at Boulder-based Caplan & Earnest, was recently named chair of the Colorado Association of School Board’s Colorado Council of School Board Attorneys.
The Colorado Council of School Board Attorneys is a membership organization for attorneys who represent local boards of education. In her role as chair, Bump will promote the exchange of legal information and analysis to members on current school law issues, help facilitate continuing legal education, and assist in providing a state forum benefiting school attorneys.

Bump’s practice focuses on providing legal services to school districts. Her areas of specialty include powers and duties of school boards and board members, policy development, employment, open records and open meetings, construction contracts, real property acquisition and land use, intellectual property protection and compliance, and financial transactions.
