Caplan and Earnest offers legal services to senior care providers, including continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, and home and community-based services organizations.

Areas of expertise include administrative law (e.g. plans of correction, nursing home administrators licensure), health ethics (e.g. end of life planning documents, plan of care issues), financing (e.g. HUD, tax exempt and conventional borrowing), operational contracts (e.g. Medicaid DRA compliance; fraud and abuse analysis), litigation (e.g. employment; collections) and compliance (e.g. HIPAA, Medicare patient rights).
