Education Law
Section Chair: Richard E. Bump
Caplan and Earnest LLC has earned a national reputation as one of the country's leading education law firms by providing legal counsel to schools and educational institutions since 1969. We currently represent almost 100 large and small school districts and boards of cooperative educational services located on the eastern plains, the western slope, the San Luis Valley and metro Denver.
Education Law Practice:
Approximately nine of Caplan and Earnest LLC attorneys devote all or a substantial portion of their practices to education law by offering a full range of services to our clients. Our services include expertise in school finance, employment law, constitutional law, charter schools, election issues, the rights of students with disabilities, real estate acquisitions, construction agreements, litigation and appeals.
Our experience and diverse client base allow us to pool information and resources so that legal services are provided efficiently, expeditiously and cost effectively. For example, we have written literally thousands of legal opinions covering hundreds of issues. We also maintain an indexed database of those opinions, allowing us to minimize research time for our clients. There is, however, no such thing as a typical client or a standard solution. We take time to learn each client's goals and priorities. Only then do we apply our experience, judgment and expertise to accomplish client objectives.
