Caplan and Earnest is pleased to share that we have chosen the recipients for our 2010 holiday donation.
We are so proud to live and work in a state and city that offers so many wonderful services to those in need. While we wish we could support them all, we had to narrow it down to a few. Many organizations were submitted by the attorneys and staff, and these two were chosen.
Mother House was nominated by Bill Ahlstrand. Mother House has been available for pregnant women in need since June of 1982. During their stay at Mother House, these women are given guidance and emotional support while also gaining encouragement to redirect their lives during an unplanned pregnancy. It has become a safe haven for women to build confidence and skills necessary for a strong future.
Boulder County Safe House was nominated by Rhonda Bender. Boulder County Safe House is a human rights organization committed to ending violence against women, youth and children through support, advocacy, education and community organizing.
